OJ Professional Learning Communities (PLCs)
The faculty and staff of OJ DeJonge Middle School is committed to the work of Professional Learning Communities. Much of this work takes place during our professional learning opportunities, including the PLC Days that our community graciously supports.
Collaborative Learning Teams (CLTs) engage in the work of a PLC throughout the year. PLCs work to answer four essential questions to have the best possible outcome for all students:
1. What should students know, understand, and be able to do? (Curriculum and instruction)
2. How will we know that students are learning? (Assessment)
3. How do we respond if students don't learn the material? (Intervention / Remediation)
4. How will we respond if the students already know the material? (Extension)
